Water Bill Payment Options
When is garbage picked up?
Garbage bins are picked up on Wednesday morning....EARLY. Have your bins on the curb Tuesday evening.
Garbage and Bulk Pick-Up
What day is garbage picked up?
Garbage bins are picked up every Wednesday...EARLY. Please have your bins out on Tuesday evening.
Bulk and brush pick-up is on the third Wednesday, once a quarter.
Can I purchase/rent more than one bin?
Yes. Please call the city office if you need to order an additional bin. The office will let you know the current monthly fee for additional bins. Bins are only rented for a full calendar month and no shorter period than a full calendar month.
When is bulk pick-up?
2025 bulk pick-up dates are listed above in the comments section and are posted on the events calendar. January/April/July/October
Building Permits & Inspections
If I have questions about a permit, who do I call?

Fire Department
In the event of a medical emergency or to report a fire, who do I call?
Alsway dial 911. Dispatch will alert the correct first responders for your situation.
Animal Control
Who do I report a vicious animal?
First, do not put yourself in harm's way. Call the Sheriff's Department immediately and report the incident. Call the city office to make the town aware.
I have a neighbor with a constantly barking dog, who do I call?
If possible and if it can be done without incident, try to discuss with the matter your neighbor. You should then contact the city office. The best way to do that is in writing by email or written note.
Please include the address of the homeowner in offense of the Animal Control Ordinance and the Noise Nuisance Ordinance. Should the problem continue, the Town of Bayside will send a Notice of Violation letter to the owner of the dog.

What day is garbage picked up?
Have your bin out by Tuesday evening. The garbage trucks arrive in town by 7:00 AM .
Is there a notary public in town?
Yes. Call or visit the city office daily before noon.

What is the minimum square footage of a new home?
750 Square feet. Please check the building ordinances for further details.
Are manufactured homes allowed in Bayside?
Yes. However, there are many restrictions and codes for manufactured homes. In addition, you will need a manufactured home approval request form. PLEASE read the Ordinance for manufactured home requirements.
How do I have new water service turned on?
Please come by the city offices before noon Monday through Friday. You will fill out a request for a new service form and submit your deposit. Allow 24 hours for the new service to be connected.
NOTE: Bayside does not accept credit or debit cards "yet". You will need a check or money order to pay the water/sewer/garbage deposit.

What is the cost for new water/sewer and garbage in Bayside?
To establish a new utilities account in Bayside, first, visit the office to fill out the request for service form. The WSG deposit for the new service is $250. Garbage pick-up is mandatory with water/sewer service.
? About "Tiny" homes and Shipping Containers?
The minimum square footage for homes is 750 sq. feet. Therefore any home under 750 sq. feet will not meet the current ordinance requirement.
Shipping containers are not allowed on residential property. Not as storage or for residential living.
