To help you prepare the Town of Bayside has provided this printable version of a hurricane preparedness checklist. The list is under RESIDENT INFORMATION. Just follow this link to print your checklist. Better to have it and not need it. Let's pray we don't need it!
The Wood Mansion to celebrate 150 years, on September 20,2025

Mark your calendars for a Celebration of the 150th birthday of Bayside’s John Howland Wood mansion on Saturday afternoon/evening, Sept. 20.
Plans include music, magic, food and drink, all hosted by the mansion.
Tours of the historic 1875 mansion for a donation will be conducted.
All proceeds go to the continued restoration of the mansion that was severely damaged by Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
Magician Doc Garner, from Shreveport, La., has committed and will provide a dazzling show or two for the event.
More information will be posted in the weeks and months to come.
