On the election front, four candidates have submitted their Modified Reporting Declaration forms. The deadline for candidates to submit a request (packet) to be on the ballot is February 13, 2026. To date, candidates running are:
Sharon Scott (incumbent) for Mayor
Barbara Gray for City Council Place II
Charmaine Briseno (incumbent) for City Council Place II
Sandra Haley (incumbent) for City Council Place III.
